Charity Bazaar

Every year at the end of November there’s a very important charity event called “Charity Bazaar” hold in Hanoi. Charity Bazaar is the fair organized by Hanoi International Woman Club (HIWC) - a non-profit group whose membership is open to women from different countries living in Vietnam. Except social and cultural activities being held among its members, Vietnamese people and foreigners, the main objective of HIWC is charity.
The Annual Charity Bazaar has always been at the forefront of all HIWC activities and a signature event of the Club, generating most of charitable funds, which are used to finance the Community Aid Projects, which improve the lives of disadvantaged women and children, educational and health projects in the remote mountain areas of Vietnam.
The diplomatic missions, international organizations, multinational companies, private businesses and public associations take part at the Charity bazaar as volunteers. Since 2003, the Embassy of Ukraine in Vietnam is an active participant of Charity Bazaar. The Embassy’s employees and their families, together with the Ukrainian community, prepare traditional dishes. Ukrainian souvenirs are also very popular. All collected money then transferred to the Charity fund.
This year the Annual Charity Bazaar will be hold on the 23d of November, as always with the active participation of the Embassy of Ukraine in Vietnam.
