On July 27, 2016 the Ambassador of Ukraine to the Socialist Republic of Vietnam and to the Kingdom of Cambodia Oleksiy Shovkoplias had a meeting with the Deputy Minister of Industry and Trade of Vietnam Mr. Tran Quoc Khanh.

In the frame of the meeting a wide range of the bilateral trade and economic cooperation issues was discussed. The two sides paid special attention to the preparation of the annual Ukrainian-Vietnamese Intergovernmental Commission, which is scheduled for the October 2016 in Kiev. The mechanisms of regular busyness contacts between the Embassy and key institutions of Vietnam in the field of trade and economy were the subject of the discussion during the meeting.

On behalf of  the Vietnamese side the meeting was also attended by the Directors of the key Departments of the Ministry and on  behalf of  the Ukrainian side -  by the  administrative staff of the Embassy.
