On July 19, 2017, the meeting was held between the Ambassador of Ukraine to the Socialist Republic of Vietnam Oleksiy Shovkoplias and the Deputy Minister of Health Protection of Vietnam Mr. Truong Quoc Cuong and the Deputy General Director of the State Drug Administration of Vietnam Mr. Do Van Dong.

The development of bilateral cooperation in health protection and the use of medical drugs were among the topics discussed at the meeting.

The parties emphasized on great collaboration opportunities in health protection between the countries and pointed out the ways for their practical implementation and strengthening.
