On December 27, 2012 the Ambassador of Ukraine to the Socialist Republic of Vietnam Oleksiy Shovkoplias had a meeting with the Minister of Transport of Vietnam Đinh La Thăng. During the meeting the current situation and prospects of bilateral cooperation in the field of transport were discussed.

The possibilities for Ukrainian companies to participate in the construction of transport and infrastructure facilities were also discussed during this meeting. Minister informed the Ambassador about the main business terms of the certain projects, function and responsibility of the government, on one hand, and potential investors – on the other.

         During the meeting the Vietnamese side expressed its interest in attraction of Ukrainian companies to the realization of the projects in the sphere of transport of SRV. Advantages of Ukrainian construction technologies, according to Vietnamese side, should be supposed as a reliable base for the successful cooperation between Ukraine and Vietnam in the realization of large-scale infrastructure projects in Vietnam.
