Today, Ukraine proudly celebrates National Flag Day  — a symbol of our national unity, dignity, and rich historical traditions.

The blue on our flag represents the peaceful sky, while the yellow symbolizes our vast wheat fields.

But over the past two years, our skies have been darkened with shades of grey and red, tainted by Russian missiles and drones. Our golden fields, a symbol of prosperity, have been charred and blackened, scarred by the devastation of Russian war crimes that endanger not just our homeland, but the very essence of nature and global food security.

Yet, the symbols of Ukraine remain steadfast. Ukrainian flags continue to wave proudly across the globe, serving as a powerful testament to our nation's resilience and indomitable spirit. 

No matter the challenges that lie ahead, the blue and yellow will forever inspire hope and unity, reminding the world of Ukraine's unwavering strength and unyielding determination.
