On August 14, 2013, Ambassador of Ukraine to the Socialist Republic of Vietnam and to the Kingdom of Cambodia Oleksiy Shovkoplias had a meeting with the President and Chief Executive Officer of Vietnam National Coal and Mineral Industries Holding Corporation Mr. Le Minh Chuan.
During the meeting the two sides have discussed the wide range of issues on bilateral cooperation in the development, mining and processing of mineral resources, which are planned to be considered in the framework of the Ukrainian-Vietnamese Intergovernmental Commission on trade-economic and scientific-technical cooperation to be held in October 2013.
On behalf of the Ukrainian side, the meeting was also attended by the Advisor to the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine V.Ya.Shybko and the Secretary of the Ukrainian Intergovernmental Commission S.A.Filatov.
