During the meeting the sides discussed a wide range of issues of bilateral cooperation in the field of science. Special attention was paid to the issues on development and  industrial implementation of scientific and technological projects in mining and processing mineral resources which are planned to be considered in the framework of the Ukrainian-Vietnamese Intergovernmental Commission on trade-economic and scientific-technical cooperation in October 2013.

On behalf of the Ukrainian side, the meeting was also attended by the Advisor to the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine V.Ya.Shybko and the Secretary of the Ukrainian Intergovernmental Commission S.A.Filatov.
