On December 29, 2014 the Ambassador of Ukraine Oleksiy Shovkoplias met with the Member of the Communist Party Committee of the Office of the National Assembly of Vietnam, Secretary of the Communist Party Bureau of the National Assembly of Vietnam, Member of the Secretariat of the session of the National Assembly of Vietnam, Deputy Chairman of the Committee on Science, Technology and Environment of the National Assembly of Vietnam, Head of the parliamentary friendship group «Vietnam-Ukraine» Le Bo Linh.

The sides discussed the current state and prospects of relations between the two countries and parliaments of Ukraine and Vietnam. Special attention was paid to the interaction between the two countries in the international arena and in particular in the framework of international organizations.
