Every year diplomatic missions, international organizations, multinational companies, private businesses and NGOs participate as volunteers in Charity bazaar.
This time representatives of 28 countries have displayed their stands including the Embassy of Ukraine.
The staff of Ukrainian Embassy in Vietnam and a few Ukrainians living and working here thousands of miles away from the Motherland had cooked dishes of national cuisine. It was crowded near the Ukrainian stand – one could felt a sincere interest in our country.
Vietnamese and foreigners living in Hanoi tasted borsch and garlic buns, fried home-made sausages, pickles, dumplings, stuffed cabbage and were delighted with cakes.
The Ukrainian stand was visited by the Belarusians, Kazakhs, Jews, Russians, Canadian and Australian Ukrainians who enjoyed the favorite dishes from their childhood.
The money earned this day by the participants of charity bazaar are transferred to charitable funds, which are used to finance the Community Aid Projects, which improve the lives of disadvantaged women and children, educational and health projects in the remote mountain areas of Vietnam.
