On December 9 Deputy Minister of National Defence hosted a reception for a delegation of Ukrainian veterans.

At the meeting the Vietnamese side expressed the gratitude to Ukrainian veterans who stood shoulder to shoulder with the Vietnamese people in the difficult times of the fight for independence.

Their meetings with Vietnamese comrades-in-arms in the Air Defence and Air Force Service testified the traditional friendship and contributed to the strengthening of relations between Vietnam-Ukraine peoples and armies.

This visit of Ukrainian veterans is the second one in 2015 and is organized by the Vietnamese side with the assistance of the Embassy of Ukraine in Vietnam.
