On December 12-16, 2017, the delegation of Ternopil Oblast State Administration headed by the Chairman of Ternopil Oblast State Administration Stepan Barna visited Dong Nai province of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam. The visit was held with the assistance of the Embassy of Ukraine in Viet Nam.

The purpose of the trip – to update communication channels and cooperation prospects with the Dong Nai province in different areas- trade, engineering and development of industrial parks.

The program of the visit included official meetings, visits to the production facilities and the round table with the Association of Young Entrepreneurs of Dong Nai province. The Ternopil delegation also visited industrial parks, and the company producing household appliances - washing machines and air conditioners under the brand AQUA (previously - SANYO).

In the course of the visit the Memorandum on cooperation in the development of industrial parks was signed between Ternopil oblast and Dong Nai province.

The Director of the farm "Hadz" Petro Hadz and the company "Hiep Thuan" signed a contract on export of apples to the province of Dong Nai, Director of LLC "TERKOM" Vasyl Grytsak signed a contract on export of wooden houses to Dong Nai province and the Director of "Ternobudmehanizatsiya" Ivan Kapustyak signed a protocol of intentions on cooperation in machine building.
