The delegation of the Institute of Microbiology of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine headed by the Director of the Institute, Academician Pidhorsky Valentyn Stepanovych visited Viet Nam on April 9-21, 2019.

During his visit the delegation had meetings and negotiations with the Vietnamese Institute of Microbiology and Biotechnology, the Northern Mountainous Agriculture and Forestry Science Institute (Bao Yen District, Lao Cai Province), the Duy Khanh Corporation (Tuyen Quang Province), the Vietnam Macadamia Association, the Family Council Duong of Hai Dương and Quang Ninh Provinces, Vietnam Institute of Drug Quality Control and Api pharmaceutical company.

As a result of the negotiations the Memorandums on cooperation with Vietnamese partners were signed.

The Embassy of Ukraine in Viet Nam provided the Ukrainian delegation with the maximum assistance in its work. Ambassador of Ukraine to the Socialist Republic of Viet Nam participated in the meetings and negotiations.
