The Cambodian Foreign Ministry officials were informed about the situation in Ukraine in connection with the Russia's five-year military aggression against Ukraine, occupation of Crimea and the part of Donbas and about the results of the investigation by the Joint Investigation Team on the crash of MH-17 aircraft that was shot down in 2014. The parties also discussed the finalization of the bilateral agreements between Ukraine and Cambodia.

During the meetings in the Ministry of National Defense of Cambodia the main topics of negotiations were the bilateral cooperation between the Armed Forces of Ukraine and Cambodia, exchange of information on the current state and organizational structure of the Armed Forces of both countries, as well as the main directions of their activities.
