The Ukrainian Studies Component, developed by the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine, is a shortened educational program designed for Ukrainian children living abroad. It includes subjects that are typically not taught in foreign schools, such as:

• Ukrainian language,
• Ukrainian literature,
• History of Ukraine,
• Geography,
• Defense of Ukraine, and
• Basics of law.

Remote Learning Options:

• Fewer hours than the full Ukrainian curriculum (6-8 hours per week).
• Adaptable timetables to avoid overlaps with foreign school schedules.

• External Education: Students are enrolled in Ukrainian schools but study from home, completing assessments and receiving Ukrainian state-recognized certificates.
• International Ukrainian School (IUS): Offers Ukrainian education abroad through local partnerships, providing weekend or evening classes in over 40 countries.
